Pink October at Inwood Hotels: A Month to Raise Awareness, Inform and Come Together
Each year, October turns pink, and Inwood Hotels joins the movement with the same heart. From 1 to 31 October, our Inwood Lovers, the people who bring our hotels and support teams to life, rally behind the fight against breast cancer through awareness sessions, sporting and charitable initiatives, and thoughtful touches for our guests.
How does Inwood Hotels take part in Pink October?
Because being informed is the first act of prevention, our teams follow a rich and varied programme throughout the month. It opens with an awareness webinar hosted by our partner Alan, followed by an interactive quiz on the key figures of Pink October, a lighter, livelier way to learn.
Awareness and self-examination workshops led by the association Rose Sein complete the programme. These moments of exchange share simple, accessible gestures that can make all the difference.
Why run Odysséa alongside our teams?
Beyond information, commitment is also about movement. Our teams in the South-East and South-West of France will lace up their trainers to take part in Odysséa, the charity race dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. Walking or running side by side is a way of saying that together, we go further.
What does Pink October look like in our hotels?
The mobilisation also comes to life in our hotels. Throughout October, a signature mocktail and cocktail in Pink October colours are served to our guests. For every drink sold, €1 is donated to the fight against breast cancer: a simple and delightful way to give back over a drink.
Where possible, our hotel façades glow pink at nightfall, a luminous signal that this cause concerns us all.
A shared commitment that goes beyond October
At Inwood Hotels, hospitality also means caring for others. Pink October is a defining moment, when everyone, team member and guest alike, can contribute to an essential cause. To raise awareness, to inform and above all to come together: this is the intention that guides us this month and well beyond.
