THE TIME OF A CRUISE

My dear readers,

I invite you today to visit Paris differently. Give yourself a lovely gateway aboard a boat to discover the capital through its most beautiful avenue: The Seine!

Embark on one of the famous Bateaux-Mouches to admire the most emblematic monuments of the City of Light.

Founded in 1949 by Jean Bruel, the Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches ® offers timeless escapades with a modern fleet of 15 ships! Jean Bruel, Parisian adventurer, bought "Le Vieux Mouche", an omnibus boat that was used to make the shuttles during the Universal Exhibition of 1900. In 1950, he deposited the brand Bateaux-Mouches, which only the Company can use!

But why it is called a "boat-fly"? The term "boat-fly" was born in the 19th century in one of the southern suburbs of Lyon, in the district Mouche. These river arms, formerly called "Mouche" gave nickname to this area and the boats out of its shipyards in 1862!

AN OUT OF THE ORDINARY STROLL

The Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches offers us different cruises: a romantic dinner, a convivial lunch, a brunch facing the Eiffel Tower or a champagne cruise, there is something for everyone!

We had a very romantic evening with Mlle Inwood on one of these boats! At dusk, admiring the illuminations of the City of Light and the sound of the violin is an unforgettable experience! We met a lovely and very attentive staff, the service was discreet and very efficient. The delicious food, leave us a happy memory.

Ernest Hemingway said, "Paris is a party" and this romantic dinner over the water is the perfect illustration!

See you soon !
